A ‘grand day out’ to the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes
Had a ‘grand day out’ the other day to the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes to experience its newly refurbished visitor centre. We watched a cheese making demonstration which we found most interesting and was definitely worth the extra £1 each. Getting to taste some of the cheeses at the end was a highlight (especially the Wensleydale with mango & ginger) and had to constrain ourselves to just purchasing 4 different varieties to continue our tastings at home. Would recommend this as a good day out for inclement weather.
